Dwyane Wade speaks out on LeBron: ‘He will always be part of my family’

The Big Three era is over in Miami. LeBron James decided to leave the Heat and return to the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Heat responded by signing Chris Bosh to a max contract. The team hopes to keep free agent Dwyane Wade, who has played his entire career in Miami.

In James’ letter announcing his decision, he wrote that he came to Miami to play with “D-Wade and CB,” and that they would be “brothers for life.” Wade released a statement addressing James’ departure Saturday, and echoed the sentiment.

“As a friend and a teammate, I am sad to see my brother LeBron leave to begin a new journey. In 2010, we decided to come together all for one goal – to win championships and we succeeded. We were friends when we first joined the league and created an unbreakable bond the past four years…
